Our purpose:

The purpose of Sacramento Pagan Pride shall be the advancement of religion and elimination of prejudice and discrimination based on religious beliefs, specifically those religions that fall under the definition of “Pagan” as defined by Sacramento Pagan Pride.

Sacramento Pagan Pride is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, and educational purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code.

Sacramento Pagan Pride is a religious organization.

Sacramento Pagan Pride is not under the control of any particular Pagan organizations. It is more of an umbrella group staffed by members of the Pagan Community. Any one that would like to participate in promoting the Pagan Community should get involved with the Sacramento Pagan Pride and help make this event a reflection of all the Pagan organization in the Sacramento region.

The Sacramento Pagan Pride Day and Harvest Festival

The Sacramento Pagan Pride Day and Harvest Festival is an annual gathering of people who follow what is commonly referred to as Neopagan spirituality. This festival is an opportunity for us to come together in the spirit of community and celebration. Most importantly it is open to the public and it is family friendly with the hope that members of the larger Sacramento community can attend in the spirit of respect and the possibility of learning more about what the various traditions of Paganism truly are all about. We have come together in this way for over a decade, and we will continue to do so. This enriching festival offers vendors, classes, authors, and entertainment to convey the basic philosophies and teachings of the various traditions of Neopaganism.

The Pagan Pride Project

The Pagan Pride Project is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization whose central purpose is to work towards the elimination of religious discrimination and prejudice using the tools of education, communication, respect and bridge-building. The hope is that in this way, a mutual understanding between people of all faiths can be nurtured. Sacramento Pagan Pride is umbrelled under the Pagan Pride Project for this event and is also registered as a non-profit unincorporated association with the California Secretary of State.
